cuddly milo

One of my grad school applications is due on Friday, the rest aren't due until the end of December or mid-January. Unfortunately, this one app is really 3 apps in disguise, as I'm applying to 3 programs at the same school. yuck. Even worse, they want a writing sample. WTF!? I haven't written a paper in 2 years. The papers that I do have, in retrospect, are CRAP. Honestly, I can't believe that I wrote that stuff and got A's on it. Grade inflation, anyone? Anyway, I need to re-write one of these papers FAST. Hopefully they will just read my SoP and think I'm fabulous and just toss the writing sample out. Riiight.

Speaking of that, any volunteers to read and/or edit my SoP?

Went to ABQ with Colette this weekend, her great-grandfather passed away. I'm sorry that I never got to meet him.

Back to my SoP. Milo's sitting on my lap between me and the computer, making it a bit difficult to type. He's been very lovey since yesterday. (Although he wouldn't even look at me when I first got home!)
