Safran, 3 months and 2 weeks old
We got a new cat from Pet World yesterday. Colette and I went to get gerbil food and couldn't resist baby Safran. We'd been talking about getting another cat (mainly so Milo has someone to play with and bite besides us) in the next few months but when we saw this little guy we had to take him. He's such a cuddler. He doesn't bite like Milo does, I keep wanting to jerk my hand away from him expecting to get bitten, but nothing, not even a little nip. He purrs constantly, even when Milo is getting ready to pounce on him. If you look at him or come in the same room as him he'll start to purr. The two cats are starting to get along better. Milo's still pouncing on him and swatting, but Safran (named after "Jonfen" Safran Foer and saffron) is starting to fight back. Or not even fight back, really, just kind of sit there and watch Milo try to attack him.

and i love his name! i just saw the movie a few months ago and loved it... i can't wait to read the book... but it's going to have to wait until i actually have time to read leisurely again... which looks like it'll be NEVER!!! :(
what a cutie!! can't wait to meet him. I'll have to get him something special.

Wow! CONGRATS! He reminds me of T.J. Remember T.J? Now you have a cat like my old cat and I have a cat like your childhood cat (Bonkey). Weird huh?
