I got a new printer today. I haven't gotten a new printer since August 2000. I went with the very low-low end basic ink-jet printer. The ink cartridges cost as much as the printer, which make me wonder where the mark-up is, on the printer or on the ink? If a printer costs $50, but comes with $45 worth of ink, does that mean that the printer is worth $5? Or that they overcharge for ink? Anyway, it's basically the new version of my old printer. yay.
Tonight I participated in some sort of experiment with mustard. I'm not too sure what the experiment is about, but the mustard was good. And watching Joel down a spoonful of mustard after scooping some up into a jar was hilarious. Went to Tex Tubb's after that for chimichangas, margaritas, and a debate over which writing style is better, APA or Chicago. (I prefer APA, but of course I've got a biased opinion.)
Tomorrow I need to get my ass in gear and actually start my grad school apps. I also need to start grading. I've been putting this stuff off for the past 2 days while pretending to be busy with housework, looking up random stuff on the internet (Wikipedia is very addicting), and running errands.
Time for bed!
ps - Colette is very cute.

The markup is in ink and cables. Really. TGF used to pretty high up a major electronics store.
