boneless buffalo wings

squeaking in at the last minute! i'm finding it hard to blog every day, especially when i'm not home till late and have 20+ frantic last-minute emails from my students. their papers are due tomorrow, which means i'll spend the next 2 weeks grading.

went to work (on a sunday! again!), where i found a book on the social history of early modern dutch. boring, you say? yes, it probably is, especially since it's published by a university press and probably isn't meant for anyone outside of dutch studies/linguistics to read. i also talked to a guy who is participating in NaNoWriMo, which takes much more dedication than NaBloPoMo.

after work, colette and i went to target and then to uno's for some pizza and boneless buffalo wings. yum. we had a good waiter this time, which was reflected in his tip. we either get fantastic or incredibly shitty waiters. (like the guy last week at applebee's who barely came over and took a looong time to bring our drinks, our food, the bill, etc.)

and now we're back at home, and i'm writing back to all of those emails and doing other assorted boring stuff. oh yeah, and freaking out because i did absolutely nothing on my grad school applications this weekend.

meeting with prof tomorrow to re-visit old research. finally, i can do some research of my own instead of just teaching people how to do it!
