Toilets and Asparagus

Can you believe it? Two posts in one day! I am going to be such a prolific blogger that soon I'll be up to 5 visits a day!

I really want to play my violin more. About a week ago, I stayed in during the rain and played the entire Fiddler on the Roof book for Colette. When her boss lent us her car to move, we went out to Wardbrodt and I spent far too much money on more sheet music. I also grabbed some easier books so that I can play duets with C.

The landlord *finally* had someone come and fix the toilet! Previously, it had been unattached the floor. Generally, a toilet is bolted to the floor so that it does not sway from side to side when one sits upon it. Not so in Apt. #2! Although the plumber was a bit chagrined at the news that he'd be fixing a toilet to the floor, he did it. It had been wobbling for so long that I found it rather disconcerting to sit my bottom on solid... ground. Now, if only we can get the shower to drain!

Well, I've got to watch some more Buffy before I head to bed. With any luck, it's off to the Farmer's Market in the morning. Beastly Colette never wakes up in time to go, so I'll likely head there toute seule. The last time I went, I picked up a plethora of asparagus and made a lovely stirfry with ginger.

See ya later!
