Sitting at Fair Trade , where I've been nearly every day for the past month. I'm freezing cold because I forgot to bring a sweater, but it's better than being outside or in my apt where it's like 95 degrees. AC? Oh no - the landlord wants an extra $50/mo if I put in an air conditioner.
I'm taking the GRE tomorrow, and have been worrying myself sick for the past few days. Just took a practice test and my verbal score has surprisingly improved, but I get all nervous and "I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO THIS" on the math and just freak out, which does not lead to a good math score. I've barely worked on the essays, but I'm sure I'll do fine - I know how to form an argument. (Or at least I'm doing a good job convincing myself that I can.) I've spent so much time preparing for this exam, I don't know what I'm going to do once it's over. Studying is pretty much all that I do. Get up - go to fair trade - GRE till my brain has turned to mush and I can't even form complete sentences. I'll be glad when it's over.
Nothing new on the job front - I've been a bum for over a month now. I've resorted to applying for jobs at Steep-N-Brew, Borders, the Casbah, etc. I'm not excited about making $6-7 an hour, (especially when I made more than that sitting on my ass at the copy center) but I need to do SOMETHING. Being unemployed was great for about 2 weeks, now I'm just bored. And I'm NEVER bored. I wonder if this is what they talk about when they say that after people retire they feel disoriented and lost. Now I'm starting to understand why there are bridge and garden clubs.
I'll know by Friday whether I got the job at the IT company - I kind of hope I don't, it sounds horribly boring and tedious. But - it's a job and has great benefits and a decent salary. If offered the job, I'll take it. And try even harder to find a job that's not gonna put me to sleep every day.

Glad you're all done with your GRE! That's good! You'll find a job soon. Even if it's not the job you want, at least you'll have one. What ever brings in the money, right? Right! So, goodluck with that!
